WELCOME TO OUR WORLD OF MID-CENTURY DESIGN

On this page we invite you into our world of Mid-Century design. Our design univers is characterized by beautiful design, longing for more knowledge and the desire to give something back to the street we live in.

Skogen Design’s ultimate objective is to be Norway’s best website for mid-century quality design: We invest in high quality images, simple product descriptions and fast response time.

At the same time, we have during our journey from the spike start as a webshop in 2014 to have a showroom in 2017 discovered  that there is little knowledge of Norwegian design from last century. Unlike Denmark and Finland, relatively few books on Norwegian design have been written. It triggered us to take part in establishing a publisher called Form Forlag.

In our blog at the bottom of the page we gather some of Mid-Century experiences: From our travels searching for design furniture and objects we write blog posts as the «Mid-Century travelers”. On the blog you will also find information about other activities by Skogen Design like fairs, events and press coverage about our company. Enjoy!
